The GWEF has a very
eclectic board ranging from attorney and accountant to nurses,
engineers and business owners. This board represents all the
campuses in our school district and is actively seeking ways to
help and volunteer as much as possible within our school system.
The board members have children currently in all four campuses,
and also children who have graduated from GWISD and children yet
to start. Two of our board members are proud graduates from
GWISD, as well as several spouses.
We are committed to our community and will always keep
the educational opportunities for our children as the utmost
priority of this organization. We believe that George West is
the best community in which to rear our children and that we can
and should instill in them a sense of pride and respect in this
community.
We hope that you will join us in our efforts to raise
funds for our school district so that we may distribute them
back to our community to enhance the educational experience for
all of our children.
